Kirk received his Masters in Marriage and Family Therapy from New Orleans
Baptist Theological Seminary. He is a Licensed Professional Counselor and
has worked in multiple settings including a psychiatric hospital, an alcohol
and drug rehab center and in private practice. Kirk has a specialization in
Christian Sex Therapy and Sex Addiction Therapy. Kirk has worked on the
Master’s and Johnson’s Sexual Trauma/Compulsion Unit at River Oaks Hospital
in New Orleans and is currently on staff at
Bethesda Workshops
, Nashville. Kirk is trained in
EMDR
for trauma resolution and is a
CSAT
(Certified Sex Addiction Therapist). He is a member of the
Society for the Advancement of Sexual Health.
